Stephannie Yapco

Stephannie Yapco is an abstract artist and UX designer based in Metro Manila. She graduated with a degree in BFA in Information Design and developed her passion for painting vibrant works ever since she started working from home. Most of her works focus on being present and hopeful for the future. She creates forms that portray the different moments that we experience in life. Her colorful pieces also reflect on being more mindful of the present; that there are many things that we have achieved until the present that we can be mindful of, to fuel us through our current challenges, and give us a better outlook moving forward. Colors are added and blended with lots of experimentation from start to finish. The initial rawness in the starting process of her works portrays the real unprocessed self that is further guided and progresses towards a more grown and unique personality, molded throughout the journey.
